Where did "Gron" come from?
Gron Energy Solutions was founded in July 2022. The company is committed to marketing, sales and distribution of products that fit within three broad categories.
1) products that are good for the environment
2) products that are good for society
3) Products which benefit an individual's health, vitality and well-being
We want each of our "solutions" to make a positive and healthy difference in people's daily lives.
Gron means "green" in Swedish. John is proud of his Swedish heritage and has chosen the word Gron accordingly. He is also impressed with the fact that Sweden is currently the #1 country in the world leading the way in energy transition with a ETI (Energy Transition Index) score of 79. Our mission & background
Our mission is to deliver qualified products, on time, and at fair prices. Gron holds the manufacturers it represents to the highest possible product and customer service standards. We want to be an efficient and profitable conduit between our manufacturers and their valued customers.
Although the company is young, its founder/owner, John Anderson, has over three decades of experience in business development, sales and marketing, and business management. Mr. Anderson has excelled in marketing, sales and distribution in multiple industries including consumer packaged goods, medical devices, and sporting goods. The companies he has worked for include Hormel, Microflex, and Wilson Sporting Goods. Additionally, he was an owner of Integrity Food Marketing, a food brokerage business based in Pennsylvania which represented companies such as Wieder Sports and Nutrition and Turkey Hill.
Energy solutions offered
Our flagship product is a fuel combustion catalyst manufactured exclusively in the US by a 35-year old company that has successfully treated over 4 billion gallons of fuel worldwide. Their combustion catalyst reduces CO2, soot, NOx and SOx and other harmful pollutants. In addition, their products have improved the efficiency, increased power, and reduced maintenance costs, in ships at sea, over the road trucks, equipment in mines, passenger vehicles, motorcycles, and even small engine applications such as generators and lawn mowers. This product clearly meets Gron's criteria as a highly valued "gron" solution.
In addition to the fuel combusion catalyst, Gron is in the process of on-boarding four other energy related manufacturers. The include:
1) A provider of residential, commercial and industrial solar generators
2) A full-service provider of US made residential and commercial grade solar panels
3) A provider of Level 2 and Level 3 EV charging stations
4) A provider of architectural LED decorative / security lighting
